Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

heres my simple yet elegant desktop.

i try and stay away from all that custom cr@p, messes up your system i find. remember a few years ago downloading some dodgy program and i got the blue screen of death as a result!! took ages to get the system back to normal.

It definately does do something(bad) to your system.
I just downloaded and installed Samurize.
CPU is now idling at 18-32%, with Samurize open.
With Samurize closed, it idles at 0-2%.

Oh yeah, and had firefox open both times, but I wasn't doing anything.. just sat there looking at the graph.

Does this not happen to everyone else with samurize?

Did you not just go into task manager and see what process was eating up cpu time? I have samurize running monitoring loads of stuff and the cpu always idles 0-3%. Ram usage for samurize is generally only around 3mb aswell. Process to be watching for samurize is 'client.exe'

Under the CPU tab in Processes, System Idle Process says between 85-98.
Client.exe shows 9-12 and all the rest are more or less staying at 00

    Running Gnome Desktop:

    http://timony.com/Screenshot.jpg

In that Window I'm running Amarok Music Player, and the other Window shows my KDE Desktop that I connect to using NX. A whole bunch of applets on the top bar including, Desktop Switcher, Load Meter, CPU Frequency Monitor, Sound Level, Weather, Time ... The resolution is 1600x1200 but I scaled the pic down to 1024x768.

Used to use KDE all the time, switched to Gnome, then back to KDE, now back to Gnome ...

    The wallpaper is from http://icon-king.com

It's a config for a program called samurize.

Playing with it now but cant get the temp to show right, its not showing it for dublin at least. (or is it really freezing?)

EDIT: figured out how to get it to display temps for dublin i needed a location id which is EIXX0014 for dublin

I swear, you do not want to get into a disagreement with me about BMW's, especially M Powered ones! It's an M5, parked in somebody's ridiculously cool house in California. Pic gotten from the forums on m5board.com. Here's the thread. There's another pic further down on page one and two more on the 2nd page.

Think I'll stick this question in here as I'm sure someone will know.

Is there a way to have more than 3 items on the quick launch without using any programs? I hope the answers not too easy!

not sure what your asking, are you looking to know how to add shortcuts to the quicklaunch? if so then just drag your shortcuts onto the quicklaunch or browse to the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch" and add shortcuts there
