Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Signori set for Serie A return

Former Lazio legend Beppe Signori reveals he has received an offer from a Serie A side.

The striker will turn 39 years of age in February and gave the news on ‘Radio Radio’ this evening.

“I am training hard because I’d like to play in the last six months of the season,” said Beppe Gol.

“I have received a proposal from Italy. I can’t say anything now because we haven’t finalised it yet, so I’m superstitious, but I can confirm it came from a Serie A side.”

Signori was Capocannoniere for Lazio in 1993, ’94 and ‘96 and also wore the jerseys of Bologna and Sampdoria before moving abroad.

He went to Greek outfit Iraklis in 2004, then switched to Hungarian team Sopron, but he’s not ready to hang up his boots yet.

“Football has changed a great deal since I started playing. Perhaps it’s less clean now than it was when we began,” he added.

“I have such fond memories of when the Lazio fans protested in the streets at my proposed move to Parma. It filled me with joy. I shall never forget it.”

He's no Romario like, but still pretty awesome. Had Keegan gotten his way he would have played for Newcastle alongside Shearer.

He was a favourite of mine back when I followed Italian football. Remember he seemed to score an obscene amount of goals for Foggia and Lazio.

He was a decent player alright unfortunate that Italy produced so many strikers at the same time as him he didnt get more of an international chance
