Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My sister got a new Dell laptop.

She doesnt want and doesnt need the vista upgrade (her college only allows XP Pro at the moment).

So I was wondering if she doesnt take the upgrade can I?

I cant find anything on the dell site about it.

I'd say it is probably OEM and can only be used on her laptop.

Yeah it is tied to Dell only systems through the serial key and checking the bios of the system.

Given time someone might engineer a hack around that but you can get the full Vista Premium OEM version for a reasonable price so it is probably not worth the wait.

    Pity.

I'm due a free copy from the launch date.

Was gona install that on the home pc and use this on my laptop.

My sister can use it if and when her college goes vista
