Was it just me or did the crowd boo the Mushid Muhammed when the teams were being announced???

Definitly. Any reason other than his name/background?

    MOHAMMAD FOR THE TOUCHDOWN!

    Alhamdulila!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,108 ✭✭✭Lirange

"Muhammad’s nickname is “Moose”, and fans in the crowd often wear moose antlers in support of him. Additionally, fans will often yell "Moooose!" when Muhammad makes a catch, first down, or touchdown pass."

Oh, im not anymore. I changed over.

Its amazing just how slow paced the game is. 5 minutes of waiting around for about 30 seconds of play and then another 5 minutes of waiting. Im amazed that people get so much enjoyment from it.

    hey, thanks for the info!

I have no clue about American Football whatsoever, but I usually watch the superbowl and get into the spirit by yelling random things with a distinct over-enthusiastic american like spirit!

    GOOD HUSTLE GUYS!

GO BEARS! (I have 10e on with my friend, lol)

    :D

its addictive, if you love it it doesnt matter how long it takes to make a play

Fair enough, but you have to admit it's fairly high octane stuff! Also you have to admire the athleticism of most of the players. Anyway, whatever you're into!

That does not look good for benson...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,761 ✭✭✭✭Winters

    No its not.

Its taken jsut about 10 minutes to go through 90 seconds of "play" time. There is not enough fluid movement to warrent it being in any way high octane. When any quick movement occours its stopped after a couple of seconds and they change players etc.

I started to watch it this evening to actually see a good game but it is honest to god just so slow paced and too much start-stop. If they actually let play go on and didnt keep stopping it all the time it would be a lot more interesting thing to watch.

theres a lot of planned tactics involved

Exactly, everything is planned, everyone has a specific role to play, it's fascinating to watch. And if you're not entertained by the way this game has gone, you'll never like this sport (not you spyder, the other guy), this is crazy to watch

Thats the same in every sport. Every team has planned tactics.

But no other sport (with the exception of possibly Baseball) seems to stop every 20 seconds and change all their players so they have a better team that can do X,Y,Z over Z,Y,X. They execute their planned tactics during the play and keep the pressure on.

Thats the way we like it. Not everybodies cup of tea.

    Aye. It appears so.

I just wanted to watch what was suppose t obe a good game but I just find it so hard. It is just so start-stop as a game. Really not my cup of tea at all. I prefer a lot faster pased game with more fluid and constant movement. I just cant handle the start-stop at all .... really ruins the suspense in the game I find.

Seriously, have you nothing better to be doing?

    No BF game tonight?

fs, trolling the AF forum. You don't like it, dont watch it, but calling it a 'retarded sport'
