I just don't like it. It wasnt what I was expecting to be honest and its way too technical and stuff.

I went to one of his lectures and I'd say I did the better in his exam than any other exam....

It's great, you can do a science course in like 3 years.
    Like B.A. single maths physics
or you could get a Maths degree in 3 years
It's great you can mix subjects, like philosophy, music, sociology.
I don't see much of a problem, I hate when people claim that Art's degrees are worthless, I think it depends on what you do.

I did an Arts' degree. I wanted to do Philosophy, History and English, but at the mature student interview the Interviewer mentioned a lot of essay writing, so I ended up taking Philosophy, Anthropology and for my last choice, Maths Studies. After first year I decided to drop my lowest scoring subject, which was Anthropology, and after second Philosophy went by the wayside. So I ended up getting an Arts' degree in Maths Studies and Statistics, which was an option I had, providing I got the requisite marks in a Stats' module in second year.

I loved doing Philosophy and Anthropology, and only opted for the Maths because I got higher marks. I spent a lot of time working in a technical environment and it was nice to get the chance to study non-technical subjects which are so important to helping us understand the world around us.

So what do you do now slow coach?

Where does an arts degree get most people?

Hey. I'm doing History and Geography up there. It's a good college. Good craic. I reckon most people use Arts as a stepping stone to achive other goals. I.e i'm doing it to become a teacher. Which means i have to do the H-dip after arts. In most cases Arts will only set you on your way. You may need to do another course for a year or two to specialise in your prefered area.

At the end of the day you have years to make up your mind as to what you want to do. So doing something that interests you is a good idea. Don't rush it. In the end you'll find your own path. Think what subjects interest you the most and then go for it. Sure by the time your finished you may end up wanting to do something different and at least you'll have something to back you up. Good luck with whatever you end up doing.
