ALDI are selling extension support rods this Sunday for €7.99 each. Would highly recommend anyone who plans on slabbing ceilings (particularly angled ceilings) to pick up a pair. I bought them last time they sold them and they were a godsend - made the job much easier than using rigid deadmen, and were great for the angled ceiling. Am sure they have other uses too, but they reduced my slabbing time greatly and meant I could clamp the slab in place and then adjust it if necessary before screwing.
