Hi All,

Does anybody here keep Alaskan Malamutes?
I've done my reading on the net but would prefer to hear from someone who has one. I currently have a 1 1/2 year old female boxer and I'm looking at another female dog. One breed I'm interested in is the Alaskan Malamute. From reading they seem like a very good dog - temperament, health, training, co-existence etc. Can someone that owns one tell me what they are like please? One thing I did read was that they like to dig. Is this true as I definately don't want that in my garden!!! Also, what are they like with other dogs? I have quite a lsrge garden, so space is not a probelm with keeping dogs.
Any any information appreciated.

get in touch with the irish kennel club they should be able to put you in touch with the right people
