Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
got a new Inspiron 6400 recently and surprised at how crap the battery is. 3 hrs max. operating without mains. Is this standard? Will it get better after a few discharges / recharges?

    Anyone have a similar experience/tips?

3hrs is about it for the standard battery. It might improve slightly after a few charge/discharge cycles but not much. I went for the extended battery when I got my 1501 and it's well worth it. Get about 6 hours out of it.

yeah get a little over two hours out of mine, on normal settings, you'd probably only get 50% more battery life with the higher capacity battery, 9 cells compared to 6
