This Saturday January 27th Acii Disco will welcome the first of our international guests for 2007.We kick off the year in fine style with a salute to underground innovators of intelligent club music KOMPAKT records. We are proud to welcome from Lyon, France, DJ / Producer HERVE AK.

Infamous on the French club scene, he was resident at the Factory & Divine Comedy party's in Lyon, he has played at other popular nights such as Kult & Mad in Lausanne, Liquid in Geneva (CH) plus frequents Watergate & Glaswerk in Berlin, C/O POP FESTIVAL Cologne, Subsolo in Porto, Twins in Acores and Rex and Batofar in Paris.

He's now resident & artistic manager of the DV1 in Lyon, the most underground club in that area where you can hear the better DJs at this moment. He also organized "Royal Comedy" for the "Nuits Sonores" festival an open air Party which gathers over 2000 people in the street every year.
Also a very talented producer his first release (under the name D-Troy) "Sixteen U" edited by Weaked Records was a success in 2004, played by Sasha & Digweed, DJ Vibe and some other great names.

His second release was out in April 2006 on the Famous label K2 / KOMPAKT, a three track E.P was really emotive and full of energy! His next release the `Part Time` EP has recently featured on the C/O POP FESTIVAL Compilation 2006. His tracks are play listed by the likes of James Holden, Steve bug, Dj Koze, Dominik Eulberg and Jennifer Cardinni to name just a few.

In September 2006 Herve released a second track "CLOSER"onK2 and "SQUALSTUFF" on OBSOLETE (TOYS FOR BOYS) along with a string of digital releases on various other labels in the USA and ITALY.

Herve AK is an artist who combines discretion and efficiency, his sets travel seamlessly between House & Techno, Minimal and Pumping. He has played since 2006 in some of the best and most respected underground clubs in Europe. We are proud to announce it will be his debut appearance here in Ireland with support on the night from resident DJ and birthday boy Al Keegan.
