Need a spurious Tv remote

I have a tv I got from PowerCity years ago (Continental Edison ) which the remote is knackered. Any of the all in one remotes I have tried will do all the basic things like change channel/sound/colour etc but they wont tune channels in, any ideas? Thanks

If the universal remotes won't do it, you'll possibly need to find out who manufactured the chassis. It could be Vestel, Beko, Philips, old Grundig, etc
