20 year-old Siamese twin girls, joined at the hip, one beautiful, the other not quite so, took a two week luxury cruise around the Mediterranean.

The first evening, dressed in their best for the welcome-aboard dance, the twins were approached by a handsome young steward in a white uniform. He asked if they would join him for a dance. The pretty one blushed and said "Yes please !" - her sister looked shyly away.

They danced all evening, and during the last dance, the pretty twin whispered an invitation to the handsome steward to accompany her to her cabin for a nightcap. Surprised, the steward gladly accepted. After a couple more drinks, the pretty twin boldly invited the steward to bed.

"Well of course I'd love to", he said. "But what about your sister ?"

"Don't worry - she'll just carry on with her hobby" said the pretty twin.

"What hobby ?" said the steward.

"Oh, she plays the trombone. She's rather good at it", she replied.

So that night, and throughout the cruise, they danced all evening, then retired to the twins' cabin, where the pretty girl and the steward made love, and the other twin passed the time by playing her trombone.

Disembarkation came all too soon, with its tearful goodbyes.

Two years later, the Siamese twins found themselves at a lavish social event in a large hotel ballroom, when the pretty one spotted a familiar figure across the crowded room - you've guessed it. It was the handsome ship's steward.

"Oh look - let's go and say hello !" said the pretty twin.

"No, don't be silly", said her sister. "He'll never remember us."
