Dont know if this is the right place for this thread but anyway-- I have chorus cablenet broadband with the motorola surfboard modem which i use for my pc and xbox 360 (i change when i need them) Last weekend during the bad weather there was a power surge or something and the ethernet output on the modem was a bit burnt…

Dont know if this is the right place for this thread but anyway--

I have chorus cablenet broadband with the motorola surfboard modem which i use for my pc and xbox 360 (i change when i need them)

Last weekend during the bad weather there was a power surge or something and the ethernet output on the modem was a bit burnt and does not work anymore......i called chorus and they sent a guy and he only installed the usb driver and connected it up to the usb port. now i cant use it with the xbox
my questions are:

1. is there any way of using it with the xbox without going the wireless adaptor route
2 should the guy have replaced the modem or is that my responsibility
3 if it is where can you buy them
