    I's like to play either good blues (not the 70's cover ****) or something progressive (indie, punk, experimental things). I'm 39yrs, play both bass guitar and a bit standup bass, don't expect to become famous within the next 12 month why I have to make my money otherwise. However, I'd like to roll up my sleeves ....

    well... I play guitar, not much into blues, raised on rock but recently much more into experimental/post rock things. I'm not a brilliant guitarist but got some ideas and I miss playing with other human beings. I'm 28, located in Dublin centre. Let me know if you are interested.

    hi,
    We are Dead Birds a recent splinter group off the The Pornographic Left a nine member folk-rock band creating and gigging with original music.

    Currently we consist of a lead female singer (that’s me, Mariel!), Paddy-singer/guitarist/mandolin player, Pat our drummer, violin player Aland from Kurdistan, and we have only recently found Dommo- a cracking lead guitarist. Paddy myself and Pat have been gigging for 4 years now and we have been playing with Aland for about a year.

    We are looking for a dedicated Bass player who can join with Pat to create a strong rhythm section for Dead Birds.

    Its hard to describe the music and I suppose the best thing to do is listen to it. We aspire to go down a more Goth-folk route. Alands playing has a distinctive eastern quality and my vocals tend to feed of that sound. Most importantly we really love to play and write and enjoy playing with as many people as possible!

    Where are you based??
