Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I have a new HD tv and i would like to setup my xBox to use it but i am not sure how. Can someone please list in steps what exactly i have to do in order to get HD to work with my xBox 360. I have the full xBox package with Harddrive and wireless controllers etc so i should have all the cables i need.

    Cheers.

Your new tv should have the composite inputs on it. check out the sockets in the bar and see if the colour coding matches the 360's cable. Also if there's a vga socket on it you can buy a vga cable (€20) for the 360.
    It's as simple as that.

Thanks mate but i heard someone talking about some switch on the back of the cables that must be changed for the HD to work. Is that right?

Its component you want to hook the TV up with not composite. The red, green and blue cable for video and the red and white cable for sound. The yellow cable shouldn't be plugged into anything.

There is a switch on the cable where it goes into the 360, switch that to HDTV.
