In a fit of boredom, I started wandering around in wikipedia and ended up on a page which listed Irish phone area codes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_telephone_numbering_plan

According to that page, 020 91x xxxx is reserved for "Drama Use". WTF is Drama use? Is that like the Irish version of the US standard where all phone numbers on TV and film start with area code 555? Or is it an area code where hysterical wimmin can call each other to say that he called into the pub with a few friends on the way home from work and was nearly two hours late getting home and does that mean he's bored with her and if it's over whay doesn't he just say it I mean it's not like she couldn't do much better and it would be good for him to wash his own clothes for a change?

They are numbers that are set aside , never to be assigned to anyone in RL , so when a number needs to be shown in film/series etc you don't get people that have a problem with TV ---- Reality TV
Reality phoning the number . afaik

    Heres why :)

AC/DC finally get a complaint about the telephone number in "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap". A company in Illinois attempt to sue AC/DC for $250,000 because they begin to receive obscene phone calls on their "36-24-36" phone line.
