direct jap imports

i'm trying to help a friend import a '97 prado direct from japan. Am i right in thinking that you start with the purchase price. add €750 for shipping, add 10% of combined purchase price and shipping price for duty. vat at 21% then VRT on top of the lot. is this right? anyone know of any decent jap export sites:)
