Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Incredible Lag with the Fon

    Hey Folks,

I finally got the Fon router setup last night but I found Lag to be a major issue. I really like the idea of sharing my connection for free with other users as I only use about 10% of my CAP but the lag I've experianced has made me question holding onto the Fon. It was a little slower than normal loading web pages but the Lag was completely unaccepetable when I was playing COD2. I kept getting lots of connection issues in game.

I have a Zyxel modem that's connected into a Canyon Mimo Router, the Fon is also connected into the router. The Fon, router and access point are all with 3 feet or so of each other. Is it simply that wireless is unacceptable for gaming?

Is the other router that you have not wireless? You shouldn't need to use the Fon wireless connections yourself really but they are potentially going to be slightly slower, but due to the fact that you have to pass though an additional link before your connect to the internet. You normal private wireless network should be perfectly fine for gamin on though.
