NTL now billing 3 months ahead

got my NTL bill this morning only to find that they have changed their practice of billing 2 months ahead to now billing 3 months ahead

have looked around a good bit but can't find anything on the legality of this and so would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction

I doubt there's anything stopping them doing it, just like (they'd argue) there's nothing stopping you moving to (for example) Sky.

and ntl are DD only as well miju otherwise you pay an extra ???? €15 per bill is it ?????

does anyone use billpay.ie with them ??

Except you're locked in for a year with Sky!

I'm utterly disgusted at this now. I will be out nearly €200 euro to them next month, that's a pretty large sum. And to not even inform your customers of this change? No note in the last bill, nothing!

Im pretty sure that you have to be given either 28 or 14 days notice before they do this, especially if you are paying by DD.

If you are in a lock-in period and they change the conditions or prices during the lock-in period in a way that is prejudicial to you, you can probably terminate early without penalty.

One for the ODCA I'd say.
