bin collection day

    hi - am living in the grove and since ive been here (over a year) the bin collection day for greenstar was tuesday.

    this morning (thursday) i noticed quite a lot of people had their purple bags and bins out - has the collection day been changed??

    and if so, does has the monthly recycling collection changed to thursday too?

    thanks to anyone who can let me know!!! :confused:

    Greenstar collect on Thursdays now (for the Wood anyway) and have increased the recycling collections to every second week.

    AFAIK they will also be collecting normal bins on the days they collect the recycling bins, which means no more putting the wrong bin out :)

    I noticed on Tuesday, that very few bins were put out. But I did notice that nearly everyone had their bins out yesterday.

    Having said that, they didn't collect the bins until 5pm. We were on the verge of taking the bin in thinking they forgot, again. Then they turned into the estate. Phew!:D

    I got a bit confused as to when the bin collection days were however, the bin men came round and took our bin out for us - which I thought was nice! so its defo Thursday for the Grove!
