Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, because you can only buy out your contract in very specific circumstances. That said, wouldn't it be legend if United signed Lampard next week :P

Those this deal effectively show that any club / player has away around the transfer window system by buying out their contract and making themselves free agents for transfer ?

    ?

On topic, Southampton did something slightly similar with the Rasiak signing last season, we loaned him a day or two after the deadline with a 100% permanent deal in place at the end of the season, so in effect we signed him outside the window.

Do you not need special permission to loan outside of the window ?

Is there any site that tells you which players contracts aren't protected, who's available for a bosman, etc.? I know Tymoschuk off Shakhtar can be got for about £2m because his contract is over 3 years old. Suprised he hasn't been signed by anyone but he's cup tied.

Premier League teams need special permission i think. Whereas the lower league teams can loan whenever.
