Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    what about a 30m + coupler + 10m?

Other than that, maybe a custom wiring solution?

is it RGB you want or S-Video? + sound.

Maximum SCART cable length is estimated to about 10 to 15 meters without relay.

What are you using this for?
Why the need for 40mtrs is really what I want to know.

As John has pointed out 15 mtrs is the max you would get to just preserve borderline picture quality.

Considering the length of a 40mtr cable and the resistance of the cable at such a length you will have signal loss. Your signal would want to be very strong to begin with or be boosted.

There are systems out there that will channel scart signals down cat5 to be reconverted back out to scart on the other end.

Yeah I can't say the picture will be great at that length. I don't know about the Cat 5 adaptor yokes, but another way I could think of would be 4 co-ax cables (for composite sync, red, green ,blue - I assume you're using RGB?), and whatever else for audio if needed. I've seen SCART to BNC co-ax adaptors in Maplin - just get two of them for each end.

Radionics do a 5M extension scart lead at approx €15. Buy 8 and you have 40Metres.
