Kittens in Dublin

Hi...

It's one of my best mates birthdays, and after much discussion, we've decided I'm going to get him a cat...(Don't worry, we're not just looking for an instant cute factor or anything).

When I was younger, I did plenty of work in vets, and we took in animals that would have been treated bad etc etc, which could be given out to people looking for a new pet.

Without rambling any further, is there any place in Dublin like this? I'd prefer to give a kitten a home that wouldn't have a home otherwise if you get me.


(Oh...And it's not just me being cheap...I'll pay for all the shots and am getting a carrier..)
