Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Looks like they are going to be adjusting the maximum number of points that you can get from each game, and slight tweaking of how many each game has by default:

    Not really, but bragging rights is still a good thing. Although there was something out earlier in the week about them actualy having some kind of real prizes to go along with the points in the future ... maybe.

    Would like if they could apply points to the old xbox backward comp games and also if you would qualify for something like a free map if you beat the game etc. Would be a good PR stunt methinks.....bet you think different though!!!

    I thought I heard talk about trading them in for microsoft points alright. Braggin rights is good of course, nothing like a bit of rivalary to see who has the higest score.

    They have said that the number of achievements is going up from 50 per game to 80 now along with the extra 250 points for extra content, so they will be able to add more with the expansions for the likes of Oblivion that are coming up.

    Also they have now announced a rewards program where you stand the chance of winning real stuff as well as arcade games and MS points if you manage to increase your gamerscore by 1,500 points within a set promotional time period, 60 days for the first one:

    Of course none of these prizes are going to be available to anyone outside of the US for a good while yet. :mad:
