Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, i want to change to meteor from vodafone. i have a nokia 6680 and im wondering do i need to get vodafone to unlock the 6680 first? or is it possible that i can get meteor to unlock it when im changing over to their network??

Also, how long should it take, or is it instant?

Thanks a lot for any help.

If you are with them for a year then call meteor and tell them you are upgrading your phone and want this one unlocked so you can give to you sister or something.... They will unlock it and then you can switch.

Keep in mind that the 6680 is a 3G phone, and Meteor won't have a 3G network for at least another year, so be sure to turn off the 3G capabilities of the phone once you've switched.

You'd be better off contacting your existing supplier(Vodafone) and have them unlock the phone. At the moment Meteor are having problems generating correct unlocking codes for Nokia phones so if you want it sorted out immediately id suggest you contact Vodafone. This issue will probably be resolved soon though. The unlocking code can be generated within a few minutes but most networks will force you to wait between 5 and 7 days due to the amount of codes they have to generate.

If you have any problems you can unlock the phone yourself.

Go to gsmevolution.com and download world unlock calculator...this will generate a code from your imei number and it is tested and working 100%.
