Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Using Nokia 6234 with Nokia 6030i carkit ???

    Hi,

    I'm looking for some advice before I make a purchase. I used to have a nokia 6230i & had the carkit installed for this phone. I've now switched phones to a nokia 6234 & want to use the carkit.

    Is there any way of upgrading the existing carkit cradle or do I have to change the whole lot (the 6234 is wider than the 6230i & doesn't fit in the cradle)

    Is this the only issue with upgrading (ie does the 6234 support a wired car kit for calls & charging) ?

    You can get a cradle adapter that fits into the old adapter and lets you use the more modern phones. about 60 - 70 euro in the car phone warehouse. Got one myself for a different mobile. a bit fiddly to use.

    If you have a look on ebay, you can get an adapter cable that connects the older cark kit to the newer phone.

    If your old carkit is a nokia ck7w (The one with the Button) you can use your 6234 on the Bluetooth or you can get a new cradle..The cradle you need is a CR-56.

    The carkit I have is an old wired one (no button) answered automatically
