    Just heard on the radio that a guy has held up a Securicor van this morning at the Douglas Court shopping centre & made off with €40k. Nobody hurt thankfully.....

    Apparently, the guy wasn't wearing anything to cover his face & the Gardai appealing for info on the radio said they have had reports of a guy fitting the description cycling along the South link road with pink smoke billowing out of his rucksack..:rolleyes: for gods sake !!!

    he may be the Dumbest armed raider in the world, but he hasn't been caught yet..... the people chasing him must be a little dumber.

    I saw him cycling along the link around 10.30 yesterday (across the bridge over the Douglas Road). No pink smoke then though.

    Nope and not one person rang the gardai either when they saw him cycling down the link ! One person rang in about 3 hours later !

    Wherever he is, he's a funny pink color right now.
