Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,
My 6230i is starting to act weird. eg. I put my phone onto my desk while I'm in work. The phone is on. However, if I go and unlock the keypad the screen lights up and then asks me to enter the pin. I enter the pin and it takes a few seconds to find the network and then a deluge of text messages arrive. I haven't changed any settings and this happens intermittently.

I only got the bloody thing in August (so at least it's still under warranty I suppose).

    Quad

My 6230i does a similar thing, only without the asking for the PIN (I don't have that enabled) - but it seems to sort of turn off and then turn itself back on again when disturbed, only faster. For me though it happens rarely enough not to be a problem, maybe every month or so.

Thing is, despite not being turned off and despite the phone looking like it's on (screensaver moving away), it is not active on the network. ie in this state it doesn't receive calls or texts. This is really annoying. My phone is supposedly on, I randomly unlock it and 30 seconds later I'm getting texts saying I've got loads of voicemails.

It happened once or twice before Christmas but now it's happening every second day.

Suppose I'd better bring it back. The previous phone (a 6020) last 3 months and now this one lasts just over 4 months.

    Nice.

Get it sent away for repair, sounds like the phone is bust.

Just in case anyone else has similiar problems, got a new sim card and all the problems have stopped.

    Happy days :)
