Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

shutter sound on w810i camera

    anybody know if you can turn the shutter sound off on a w810i camera phone?

    Put the phone in silent mode (hold down the # key).

    yeh i tried that but it doesnt seem to work at all, still makes a noise, its branded to meteor

    From previous SE phones the only way to make the camera quiet is to take a picture while in a call. You could ring your credit balance and minimise the call and start camera and it will be silent. Nuisance I know but it seems to be the only way to silence it when taking pervy shots.

    It must be the unbranded version that I had then, I do know some software versions don't let you mute the camera sounds.

    The # key on my K750i shuts off the shutter sound (although it is unbranded). Probably just a firmware/rebranding issue.

    The only thing that changes in the Meteor firmware is the Sony Stuff link is Meteor Stuff. That's about it. Try doing a firmware update online.
