Saw an ad for this on the Irish shooters digest.
Says Irelands first dedicated shooting show
taking in all disciplines game, sporting, trap or target -
    Admission 10 Yo Yo's.

Its on in the National Show Centre, Cloghran, Co. Dublin.
I Have not got a clue where Cloghran is!!

Wonder if this will be all talks and seminars or will
there be LOADs of cool gear that people can Ooogle at.

There's a full page ad for it on page 79 of the January 2007 (Vol. 10, No. 3/4) issue of the Irish Shooter's Digest.
Nobody I've spoken to in clubs or gun dealers has heard anything about it.

It's running alongside Ireland Angling, apparently.

The National Show Centre is just North of Dublin Airport, on the N1.

Indeed. Worth a 250 mile round trip?

I was at this event a few years ago around 2003/4 I think and truthfully if It's still the same now, then about a 50 mile round trip would be my limit!

    Mallards.

Went out to Cloghran today for this show.€10 entry fee and then a small notice at the door saying the gun show only made up a small part of the overall.Around 80-90 stalls and only 1 had anything gun related(Tallaght Rod and Gun).False advertising and false pretences at its best.Total waste of time and money.Shooters Digest should take note on its advertising.

Looks like I made the correct decision in not going along, then.
As I said before, no-one in any club or gun dealer I spoke to had heard anything about it.

Tallaght Rod and Gun, eh?
Brings back misty eyed memories of the Gunshop Reviews thread. :D
