    Something else alright.Saw a fishing harbour south of Boston,place called plymouth and most of the dock was frozed solid in 1998 january.Now thta was cold there.

    Pushed up by what? The waves are still travelling through the water, even if it is under the surface.

    Tha's f*cked up....great lakes and NE have been getting a real hammering this week....some part of michigan had wind chills of -45 FAHRENHEIT (I don't even want to know what that is in centigrade)
