Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

XP Activation problem

I have a genuine licensed copy of XP Pro.
Over the years I have installed it several times as I have upgraded my machine/hardware etc..
Now after a disk has gone bad, and a re-install on the replacement HD, it will not let me activate it any more.
I have gone through the telephone activation processand the 'customer representative bot' tells me that I have it installed on more than one machine(which I do not) and that I must now buy a new license - which I will not do!

Does anyone know of a contact number that I can ring to sort out this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

You can ring Microsoft's activation number on 1800 930031, and they'll sort you out over the phone.

I wish to deal with a live person, because as I said: "I have gone through the telephone activation process and the 'customer representative bot'"

Update....I just needed to choose the 3rd option and then I got a real person.
Call Center in India I think.
So now if I need to activate it again I need to phone again!
    PITFB!
