Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it usual to tip the hairdresser if you're getting, say, highlights and a haircut? If so, how much? And who do you tip, and when? At the till? Please advise!

This topic has come up before. Some people said they tipped and some didn't. Some tipped only their stylist and some both the stylist and the runner who washed their hair and swept up.

Personally I leave about 10% for the stylist. Once or twice when they were in a very bad mood or didn't so anything like I asked, I didn't leave a tip.

Normally €10, sometimes €20. I went to my hairdresser for a the first time 3 years ago and we got on so well he charged me at a 40% student discount (eventhough I hadn't been a student in good few years). Still does even now.
