Patrons Travelling to Dalymount Park:
All patrons travelling to Dalymount Park for the event are advised to utilise public transport and the park and ride facilities.
Dalymount Park is serviced by bus and train
Patrons should be aware that illegally parked vehicles will be impounded or clamped and will be liable to a fine of €130.00.
Drivers should be aware that illegally or improperly parked vehicles have the potential to cause traffic disruption, obstruction and difficulty to emergency vehicles that may need to access the narrow residential streets that surround Dalymount Park.
Pre and Post Event Traffic Restrictions:
A Garda Cordon will be in effect on the streets that lead to Dalymount Park from 6.45pm.
Traffic will be diverted away from St. Peters Road and Connaught Street before and after the game.
As a guideline the Garda cordon at St. Peters Road / Connaught Street will be in place one hour prior to stiles opening time and one hour post event to enable match patrons to arrive and depart safely.
In bound traffic will also be diverted away from Connaught Street towards the New Cabra Road before and after the game.
Patron Search:
All patrons entering the Garda cordon will be the subject of a ticket check by Stewards and search by Gardaí.
Any offensive articles, e.g. glass bottles, air horns, till rolls and large flagpoles will be seized. Patrons are advised not to bring any unnecessary baggage with them and are advised to travel early to the stadium to avoid any unnecessary delays. Patrons who are intoxicated will be refused entry to the ground.

As this event is sold out there will be no ticket sales outlets on the day of the event.
Patrons are further advised not to purchase tickets from any unaccredited source.

At Broomfield roundabout, Coaches and Campervans will be directed onto N80 to Stradbally. All other event traffic will be directed to designated parking.
N8. - At Abbeyleix, turn right to Stradbally via Ballyroan. (Coaches and Campervans - continue straight to M7 and Exit 16)
N80 via Carlow – proceed straight to Stradbally.
R428 via Athy – proceed straight to Stradbally.
All staff and services will use their pre notified routes. The use of any other route will necessitate parking in the patron parking areas.

Patrons who travel by road are advised to travel early to avail of the supervised parking facilities.
There are two supervised car parks available in the vicinity of Croke Park.
1. Clonliffe College, Drumcondra Road 3,100 spaces
(Access from Lower Drumcondra Road)
2. O’Connell’s School, North Richmond Street. 400 Spaces
(Access from the North Circular Road.)
No Traffic will be permitted to leave the car parks for a period after the game, in order to allow foot patrons leave the area safely.
Patrons should be aware that illegally parked vehicles will be impounded or clamped and will be liable to a fine of €130.00.
Drivers should be aware that illegally or improperly parked vehicles have the potential to cause traffic disruption, obstruction and difficulty to emergency vehicles that may need to access the narrow residential streets that surround Croke Park Stadium.
Patrons are advised to travel to Croke Park via the M50 motorway to Navan Road, Finglas Road, Drumcondra Road. These routes lead directly to Croke Park. Supporters arriving via the M50 /M1 motorways are advised to allow time for traffic delays. Dublin Port Tunnel will be open to all vehicles.
After the game patrons will have the option of travelling the Belfast Road (M1) or on the M50 to the (N2) Ashbourne Road, (N3) Navan Road, (N4) Lucan Road, (N7) Naas Road and (N11) Wexford Road.
Special Needs Parking:
There are no special needs parking facilities on the public streets within the Croke Park cordon area. The parking facility in Clonliffe College does have a large and very suitable special needs parking facility very close to the stadium. Entry is via Drumcondra Road only.
Bus/Coach Parking:
There is a bus/coach parking facility at Mountjoy Square and a secondary facility at Western Way (off Phibsboro Road).
Park and Ride Facility:
There will be two park and ride facilities in operation for this event. They will be from the following locations. Patrons availing of the facility will be transported by bus to and from Croke Park.
1. Fingallians G.A.A Club, Swords, Co. Dublin.
2. Naas GAA Club, Naas, Co. Kildare.

Cork GAA fans can travel to Dublin and back for the All-Ireland Senior Football Final for just €25 return with a special service from Bus Éireann.
The Football Final Service will depart Cork at 7.30am on Sunday, September 20th 2009 and serve Fermoy and Mitchelstown. It will depart Dublin that evening from Busaras at 6.30pm.

Bus Éireann is providing a range of services to make it easy to get to and from the National Ploughing Championships in Cardenton near Athy.
These include a Park n Ride Service, shuttle services from Athy and nearby train stations, and special services from Clonmel and Kilkenny.
Bus Éireann is providing a Park n Ride service for the National Ploughing Association from the Bert Bridge Car Park to the site of the Championship. The bus service is free to customers and will operate every five minutes in each direction from 07.00 to 19.00 for the three days of the Championship from September 22nd to September 24th 2009 inclusive.
Bus Éireann is also operating a shuttle service to the Championship site from Athy. The shuttle will start from the town at Paddy Dunnes Pub, Woodstock Street, to the bus stop at St. Vincent’s Hospital. The service from the town will operate from 10.00 every 30 minutes to 14.00 inclusive and every 30 minutes from 15.00 until l17.30. From St. Vincent’s bus stop into Athy it will operate from 10.15 every 30 minutes until 15.15. The journey time will be approximately 10 minutes in each direction. The fare is €4 return.
In conjunction with Irish Rail, Bus Éireann is operating shuttle buses from Athy Station, Portarlington Station and Kildare Station to cater for train services from Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Ennis and Galway (all via Portarlington), Heuston Station, Dublin (via Kildare) and Waterford (via Athy)

Bus Éireann is also providing special fare services from Clonmel and Kilkenny during the Championships for just €10 return. The special services will operate six times a day each way. The above game takes place at Croke Park on Sunday, the 20th September 2009. An attendance of 83,200 is expected at the event.
Patrons Travelling to Croke Park:
All patrons travelling to Croke Park Stadium for the event are advised to utilise public transport and the park and ride facilities. Croke Park stadium is serviced by bus, train and Luas transport facilities.
Patrons who travel by road are advised to travel early to avail of the supervised parking facilities.
There are two supervised car parks available in the vicinity of Croke Park:
1. Clonliffe College, Drumcondra Road 3,100 spaces
(Access from Lower Drumcondra Road) 100 Special Needs Spaces
2. O’Connell’s School, North Richmond Street. 400 Spaces
(Access from the North Circular Road.) 10 Special Needs Spaces
No Traffic will be permitted to leave the car parks for a period after the game, in order to allow foot patrons leave the area safely.
Patrons should be aware that illegally parked vehicles will be impounded or clamped and will be liable to a fine of €130.00.
Drivers should be aware that illegally or improperly parked vehicles have the potential to cause traffic disruption, obstruction and difficulty to emergency vehicles that may need to access the narrow residential streets that surround Croke Park Stadium.
Patrons are advised to travel to Croke Park via the M50 motorway to Navan Road, Finglas Road, Drumcondra Road. These routes lead directly to Croke Park. Supporters arriving via the M50 /M1 motorways are advised to allow time for traffic delays. Dublin Port Tunnel will be open to all vehicles.
After the game patrons will have the option of travelling the Belfast Road (M1) or on the M50 to the (N2) Ashbourne Road, (N3) Navan Road, (N4) Lucan Road, (N7) Naas Road and (N11) Wexford Road.
Special Needs Parking:
There are no special needs parking facilities on the public streets within the Croke Park cordon area. The parking facility in Clonliffe College does have a large and very suitable special needs parking facility very close to the stadium. Entry is via Drumcondra Road only.
Bus/Coach Parking:
There is a limited bus/coach parking facility at Mountjoy Square South and East. There will not be any facility for coach parking on Mountjoy Square North or West. Parking will be on a first come first served basis. Ensure that parking regulations are complied with. Double parking of buses will not be permitted. Drivers are also requested to only turn engines when in a position to depart Mountjoy Square.
There is a secondary parking facility at Western Way (off Phibsboro Road). Drivers utilising this facility are also asked to comply with the above requirements.
Park and Ride Facility:
There will be two park and ride facilities in operation for this event. They will be from the following locations. Patrons availing of the facility will be transported by bus to and from Croke Park.
1. Fingallians G.A.A Club, Swords, Co. Dublin.
2. Naas GAA Club, Naas, Co. Kildare.
Pre Event Traffic Restrictions:
As with all events at Croke Park, a Garda Cordon will be in effect on the streets that lead to Croke Park. Only accredited vehicles will be permitted to pass by this cordon. All vehicles will be checked for accreditation.
Local residents, their immediate families, local business community are in possession of passes and will be facilitated at the barriers. Passes however do not guarantee entry through the cordon where pedestrian volumes exist.
As a guideline the Garda cordon will be in place one hour prior to stiles opening time and one hour post event to enable match patrons to arrive and depart safely.
Patron Search:
All patrons entering the Garda cordon will be the subject of a ticket check by Stewards and search by Gardaí. Any offensive articles, e.g. glass bottles, air horns, large flagpoles will be seized. Patrons are advised not to bring any unnecessary baggage with them and are advised to travel early to the stadium to avoid any unnecessary delays.
Ticket Outlets Outside Croke Park:
There are No ticket sales on the day of the event. However there will be an official G.A.A ticket outlet for collection only and will be located as follows:
Gills Corner.
Patrons attending the games are strongly advised to purchase tickets only through the official GAA sources. Tickets purchased from unaccredited sources will not gain entry at stiles.
Public Order:
Patrons are advised that the Gardaí will not permit the consumption of alcohol outside public houses, while walking along the street or in any other public place.
Patrons are asked to have consideration for local residents and refrain from anti-social behaviour such as on street drinking and urinating etc.
Crime:
Patrons are advised to be aware of their own personal safety and security while attending the event. They should ensure the security of personal belongings while on route to and from the stadium i.e. purses / wallets / tickets / Mobile Phones.
Patrons who arrive by vehicle should also ensure that property is not left exposed in parked vehicles. They should ensure that car windows, sunroofs are correctly closed.
Croke Park Hotel Car Park:
All residents of the Croke Park Hotel will be permitted entry subject to pedestrian presence at the time and are requested to access the hotel via North Circular Road / Russell Street junction where there will be a register of all guest vehicles.
The Garda Traffic Corps in the Dublin Metropolitan Region will be operational during these events to assist with traffic management. Garda Air Support has also been requested to provide assistance.

In Dublin a record 124 cultural venues will open their doors for Culture Night including St Stephen’s Green Park, the National Museum of Ireland, the Science Gallery Trinity College, The Revenue Museum, Guinness Storehouse, RTÉ Performing Groups, Dublin Castle State Apartments, Gallery Zozimus and a Francis Street Treasure Hunt, The Ark Cultural Centre for Children and much more.

The Republic of Ireland international football and rugby teams will be representing the country against France and Australia respectively on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of November.
The football team will kick off against France at 8pm on Saturday, beginning their attempt to reach next years World Cup in South Africa through the playoffs.
The rugby team will begin their season, and their build up to this years 6 Nations Championships, against the Wallabies on Sunday, when kick off is 3pm.

Patrons Travelling to Croke Park:
All patrons travelling to Croke Park Stadium for the event are advised to utilise public transport and the park and ride facilities. Croke Park stadium is serviced by bus, train and Luas transport facilities.
Patrons who travel by road are advised to travel early to avail of the supervised parking facilities.
There are two supervised car parks available in the vicinity of Croke Park.
1. Clonliffe College, Drumcondra Road 3,100 spaces
(Access from Lower Drumcondra Road) 100 Special Needs Spaces.
2. O’Connell’s School, North Richmond Street. 400 Spaces
(Access from the North Circular Road.) 10 Special Needs Spaces
No Traffic will be permitted to leave the car parks for a period after the games, in order to allow foot patrons leave the area safely.
Patrons should be aware that illegally parked vehicles will be impounded or clamped and will be liable to a fine of €130.00.
Drivers should be aware that illegally or improperly parked vehicles have the potential to cause traffic disruption, obstruction and difficulty to emergency vehicles that may need to access the narrow residential streets that surround Croke Park Stadium.
Patrons are advised to travel to Croke Park via the M50 motorway to Navan Road, Finglas Road, Drumcondra Road. These routes lead directly to Croke Park. Supporters arriving via the M50 /M1 motorways are advised to allow time for traffic delays. Dublin Port Tunnel will be open to all vehicles.
After the game patrons will have the option of travelling the Belfast Road (M1) or on the M50 to the (N2) Ashbourne Road, (N3) Navan Road, (N4) Lucan Road, (N7) Naas Road and (N11) Wexford Road.
Special Needs Parking:
There are no special needs parking facilities on the public streets within the Croke Park cordon area.
The parking facility in Clonliffe College does have a large and very suitable special needs parking facility very close to the stadium. Entry is via Drumcondra Road only. There is a further smaller facility at O’Connells School which is again very close to the stadium.
Bus/Coach Parking:
There is a limited bus/coach parking facility at Mountjoy Square South and East. There will not be any facility for coach parking on Mountjoy Square North or West. Parking will be on a first come first served basis. Ensure that parking regulations are complied with. Double parking of buses will not be permitted. Drivers are also requested to only turn engines when in a position to depart Mountjoy Square.
There is a secondary parking facility at Western Way (off Phibsboro Road). Drivers utilising this facility are also asked to comply with the above requirements.
Park and Ride Facility:

Pre Event Traffic Restrictions:
As with all events at Croke Park, a Garda Cordon will be in effect on the streets that lead to Croke Park. Only accredited vehicles will be permitted to pass by this cordon. All vehicles will be checked for accreditation.
Local residents, their immediate families, local business community are in possession of passes and will be facilitated at the barriers. Passes however do not guarantee entry through the cordon where pedestrian volumes exist.
As a guideline the full Garda cordon will be in place two hours prior to stiles opening time and one hour post event to enable match patrons to arrive and depart safely.
Patron Search:
All patrons entering the Garda cordon will be the subject of a ticket check by Stewards and search by Gardaí. Any offensive articles, e.g. glass bottles, air horns, large flagpoles will be seized. Patrons are advised not to bring any unnecessary baggage with them and are advised to travel early to the stadium to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Public Order.
Patrons are advised that the Gardaí will not permit the consumption of alcohol outside public houses, while walking along the street or in any other public place.
Patrons are asked to have consideration for local residents and refrain from anti-social behaviour such as on street drinking and urinating etc.
Crime.
Patrons are advised to be aware of their own personal safety and security while attending the event. They should ensure the security of personal belongings while on route to and from the stadium i.e. purses/wallets/tickets/ Mobile Phones.
Patrons who arrive by vehicle should also ensure that property is not left exposed in parked vehicles. They should ensure that car windows, sunroofs are correctly closed.
Croke Park Hotel Car Park
All residents of the Croke Park Hotel will be permitted entry subject to pedestrian presence at the time and are requested to access the hotel via North Circular Road / Russell Street junction where there will be a register of all guest vehicles.
