Does anyone have any idea how much a car battery for a fiat punto would cost?

Fitting is relatively straightforward. Few spanners (to be sure you have the right size) 10, 12, 13mm. Also a ratchet socket and extension with similar sized sockets.

You might get it fitted if you are close to the retailer, but you may well have to pay extra. Tyr to get a mate with a car and tools to give you a dig out.

Spend a few quid more for a heavier duty battery if you can. Know you're in Limerick, but I got a HD battery from Consort for €49 recently. You should be looking at a similar price. A tyre place might be your best bet if you want it fitted. Maybe get a mate to tow you there?

    Not your ornery onager
