Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Guys.. Im hoping somebody here might be able to help. My brother has broadband at home (with NTL). The connection is through a modem which is connected to the computer (ie. not wireless).

Anyway my younger brother got a laptop for his 21st. How can I go about setting his wifi on the laptop so that he can piggyback my brothers connection?? When i did a search for available wireless connections on the laptop when i was in my brothers room i got one listed back which was called tononet and it was looking for a WEP key. I dont imagine that that is refering to the NTL connection so how would I go about getting internet access on my brothers laptop. Id appreciate any help anybody here could give me... thanks

Your brother will need to have a wireless card installed on his computer, and share the connection using Windows Internet Connection Sharing.

Get a wireless router and plug modem into router and pc. Your wireless lappy should pick it up straight away. Make sure you set up a password with your router.;)
The advice above is wrong. You dont need card for main pc.
