    I don't know if this has been answered before but I can't find it. Is there anyway to search for a users posts like could be done on boards.ie a while ago? I can only seem to search for threads started by a user.

    Someone suggested this and it works well.
    In the google search box type in site:www.boards.ie postername
    It throws up most posts, should help a bit.

    Thanks, tried that but doesn't work too well. You would think this would be a basic feature of a forum like boards.ie

    The function was removed when the search function was removed, in an effort to speed up the site.

    Hopefully it'll be reinstated soon. Meanwhile, you'll just have to make do.

    i know its been asked already but any update on the search status and when it returns?

    It must be over a year now since it was 'temporarily removed'.
