    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I am looking at buying a site and building my own house through direct labour. I need to sit down and go through costs & make sure i am budgeting correctly. If anyone have any advice it'd be much appreciated. :)

Looking to build a 1800 sq ft bungalow in Co Cork on 3/4 acre (the site is slightly sloped) house is 3 bed basic bungalow with 2 sitting rooms and a sun lounge, any idea of a rough cost for the following:

    Site Clearance:
    Foundations:
    Block Layer:
    Roofing/Carpentry:
    Plumber:
    Electrician:

    Thanks a mill

Thanks - had a look at that - it varies quiet a bit for price per sq ft!!

I am wondering more so of how much each section will cost me, e.g the carpenter will cost me on average €?? for work on an average 3 bed 1700 sq ft bungalow and the same for plumber, block layer etc.

Does anyone has an idea of the average costs for each section ??

God, you'd go blind trying to read that site - good info there if you persist though.
