Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for preferably, a 14" or under pink or white laptop

Budget is €1200. Image comes before specs in this case :)

so far, i've shortlisted the sony vaoi c series or the macbook 13"

tbh, I don't know about the mac. The girl in question is used to windows and not very technologically gifted so switching to mac could be more hassle than it's worth.

So at the minute, the pink or white sony vaoi c seems to be the winner. Anything else i'm missing?

OS X is very easy to use. And you won't have the problems with viruses and malware.

Also remember that the Macbook is intel based and can run windows as well using Bootcamp.

hmm, might be ok then... it comes in about €100 cheaper so it's probably in the lead now :D

The Macbook also has a built in webcam as well and it comes with the iLife software suite which is really great and easy to use.

    You need a Petticoat 5! http://youtube.com/watch?v=qptvCqtMg_o

I hadn't realised that people actually had gender-specific laptops, though.

The Macbook also has a built in webcam ...

People keep saying this as if its a big deal. Many windows laptops have webcams built in too. But tbh its a feature I'd never use myself. Anywhere I've seen teleconferencing and video calling used, its seems to be a fad people get bored with after a while and revert to audio only or IM. YMMV of course.
