Changing the kitchen soon and installing a gas hob. My gas line runs to the heating boiler which is about 4 meters away from where the hob will be and will mean chasing the floor to run a new pipe.I'm guessing about 3 or 4 inches deep would be enough? Is the pipe then supposed to be concreted in or left with a soft fill like sand under the tiles for future access, leaks etc?
