    Hey,Hope somebody can help

    I have chorus broadband and the ethernet port is not working.only usb is working
    i usually use the ethernet port for my xbox 360 .
    i told my mate about this and he game me a spare motorola surfboard.
    when i test the connection on xbox live the ip address always fails\

    any body have any ideas how to get past this

    You need to add a Router.

    how can i get the spare cable modem to work with my 360 ...a direct modem to xbox connection
