Okay. So I have Digiweb Wireless Broadband(FWA). I have noticed that iy:* is slower than it should be * goes in bad weather * says satlynx on my signature Am I right to think that I might be on some sort of satellite? Is this the same with everyone?

I hope you got your spacesuit heater on. It's cold 45,000km up above the equator.

http://www.digiweb.ie/index_athome.asp suggests that Digiweb actually sell four different systems to home users:
DSL
Metro
Wireless (FWA)
Satellite

They have other systems for Buisness users too. Surely you know what you signed up to?
