Yes, but that's one of the main complaints. You have to play it offscreen completely and not look at your TV.

Still yet to buy SMT IV is it worth €10?

I bought it on sale a few weeks ago. I've only put an hour into it but it seems like it will be fairly entertaining once I finish Xenoblade.

    European eShop - 14th May
    (source)
    Wii U eShop

Ultratron (Curve Digital, €8.49 / £6.50 until 28th May, normally €9.99 / £7.99) - For those with a yearning for a retro-style arena-based shmup, this may be an ideal option. From the team behind Titan Attacks, this brings the '80s to mind yet has flashy HD visuals to boot. It looks rather fun, with the bonus that it has 40 levels and a whole load of special weapons to tackle; we'll see whether it wins the battle or should be blown to smithereens in our review.

Nihilumbra (Beautifun Games, €6.99 / £5.49 until 28th May, normally €8.99 / £6.99) - It's taken a little longer than expected to make its way to Wii U, but does arrive with a unique co-op mode utilising the GamePad. This is an adventure puzzle title in which you manipulate the environment with coloured paint, while it's also boasting an attractive art style and involving narrative. We'll see whether this delivers on its potential in our review.

    Wii U eShop Temporary Discount

    Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (Black Forest Games, €7.49 / £5.99 until 21st May, normally €14.99 / £12.99)

    Ducktales: Remastered (Capcom, €6.69 / £5.39 until 28th May, normally €14.99 / £11.99)

    Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara (Capcom, €5.99 / £4.79 until 28th May, normally €14.99 / £11.99)

    Resident Evil Revelations (Capcom, €14.99 / £11.99 until 28th May, normally €49.99 / £39.99)

    Guac' a Mole (Madskull Creations, €2.69 / £2.39 until 11th June, normally €3.50 / £3.19)

    Wooden Sen'SeY (Neko Entertainment, €2.99 / £2.39 until 21st May, normally €9.99 / £8.00)

    Wii U Virtual Console

Mega Man Zero 4 (Capcom, €6.99 / £6.29) - The final instalment in this series and the latest GBA arrival on Wii U, this naturally introduces new foes and abilities; you'll now have a Z Knuckle punch, be able to improve your stats from destroyed enemy parts and change the weather. There's certainly plenty going on, and we'll see whether this lives up to its predecessors in our review.

    Mega Man Battle Network 2
(Capcom,€6.99 / £6.29) - A continuation of the RPG gameplay introduced in the original, new features are worked into this entry; this GBA title also picks up a few months after the first game's story, too. Not your classic Mega Man action, but still rather rewarding - we gave this a strong recommendation in our Mega Man Battle Network 2 review.

    3DS eShop

3D Thunder Blade (SEGA, €4.99 / £4.49) - Another terrific SEGA arcade makes its way to the 3DS; this time around you're piloting an attack helicopter through tricky terrain and combat scenarios. This M2 remaster includes stereoscopic 3D, Circle Pad Pro / C-Stick support, remixed music and more besides. We'll gear up and take to the skies for our review.
    3DS Retail Download

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. (Nintendo, $39.99) - A new IP developed by Intelligent Systems, this takes place in an alternate history of literary heroes and Abraham Lincoln fighting to defend a Steampunk London. With over-the-shoulder strategy this is certainly a fresh approach, and in addition to the campaign there are local and online multiplayer modes. Despite the occasional design flaw we were big fans of this in our Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. review. Available from 15th May.

    3DS eShop Temporary Discounts

Damn, Ducktales really should have been ported to 3DS by now.

Hakuoki looks interesting. Both Resident Evil games too for those prices.

This review has me rather interested........despite being a heterosexual male with little interest in feudal Japan!

    Wii U eShop

Swords & Soldiers II (Ronimo Games, €18.99 / £16.99) - A Wii U exclusive and sequel to one of the finest Wiiware games, this is a real time strategy game with a side-on 2D perspective. You can play as Vikings, Persians or Demons in local multiplayer, while the meat of the experience is likely to be in the campaign. We anticipate humour and lovely cartoon visuals in this one, too; we'll let you know whether it lives up to its potential in our review.

Kirby's Epic Yarn (Nintendo, €14.99 / £13.49 until 28th May, then €19.99 / £17.99) - This was Good-Feel's first dabble in platforming with the yarn effect, taking its idea and applying it to the typically cute Kirby franchise. It proved to be a true gem on the Wii and we're pleased to see it make its way to the eShop; we absolutely loved this in our Kirby's Epic Yarn review.

    Wii U Virtual Console

Paper Mario (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - This is the Nintendo 64 title where Mario's paper-based RPG adventures began. Though it's a relatively linear adventure it's full of wit and innovation, setting up a variety of sequels in the generations to follow. We described this as a "true classic" in our Paper Mario review.

    3DS HOME Theme

    Code Name S.T.E.A.M. (Nintendo, free)

It's not clear if the Olli Ollie cross-buy is still in play - but that would explain why it's not mentioned in the 3DS section?
Also, in case you were dithering, the Trine, Trine 2 and Steamworld Dig discounts expire on thursday

    Wii U eShop
High Strangeness (Midnight City, €9.99 / £8.99) - Developed by Barnyard Intelligence games, this is described as "a hybrid of 8 and 16 bit games - a 12 bit adventure", incorporating retro RPG and adventure game mechanics. Jumping between bit-based realities, with watercolour illustrations also thrown in, you need to solve puzzles and tackle the strange storyline. Though it's not without flaws, we gave this a solid recommendation in our High Strangeness review.

    Wii U Virtual Console
Flying Warriors (Culture Brain, €4.99 / £3.49) - This never arrived in PAL regions on NES, so represents a bit of an 8-bit virtual import treat for European gamers. It incorporates a range of attacks and ninja-like abilities, and we're certainly intrigued; we'll bring you a review soon. This is the US version of the game.
Little Ninja Brothers (Culture Brain, €4.99 / £3.49) - This one did get a PAL release back in 1991, and brings a cartoonish RPG-like 8-bit experience; it also features two player support and some sports events to pass the time. We'll be like a ninja and get a review to you soon. This is the US version of the game.

    Wii U Retail Download
Splatoon (Nintendo, €35.99 / £31.49 with Splatoon Global Testfire demo download on same Wii U, otherwise €39.99 / £34.99 ) - Certainly the most notable Wii U release of the year so far, this new IP is Nintendo's unique take on the shooter genre, with a third-person view and a focus on claiming territory as well as kills. There's a single-player campaign on offer but it's the online multiplayer that's likely to grab the most attention; we'll bring you our review ahead of its release - available from 29th May.

    3DS Retail Download
Fossil Fighters: Frontier (Nintendo, €39.99 / £34.99) - The latest retail 3DS title published by Nintendo, this follows up on DS predecessor in which you explore and uncover fossils; these become your dinosaurs with which to battle. "Like Pokemon but with dinosaurs", as our editorial director Damien McFerran puts it, this also has local and online battles for up to six players. We gave this a solid recommendation in our Fossil Fighters: Frontier review. Available from 29th May.

State of the eShop address, 4th June - Nicked from Nintendolife
    Wii U eShop

Don't Starve: Giant Edition (Klei Entertainment, €13.99 / £12.59) - An intriguing and stylish survival experience that has been critically acclaimed. The Wii U version also comes with the Reign of Giants expansion pack as part of the main game, while utilising the GamePad for inventory management and off-TV play. We'll try and survive to bring you a review soon.

FullBlast (EnjoyUp Games, €4.99 / £4.40 until 2nd July, then €5.99 / £5.39) - Previously released on smart devices and Ouya, this adds to the small band of shmup titles on Nintendo's home platform, in this case with a focus on vertical scrolling and some boss set pieces. It supports two player co-op, too, and we'll give it a blast for review.

    Wii U Virtual Console

Big Brain Academy (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - A title that helped to define the concept of the DS, and contributed a great deal to the portable's incredible success, arrives as the latest in the limited - to date - batch of DS titles on Wii U. A collection of minigames to test your faculties and (hopefully) show progress with practice, we gave this a reasonable if not glowing recommendation in our original Big Brain Academy review.

Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven (Marvelous, €29.99 / £24.99) - This retail title is localised for Europe as an eShop-only release and is produced by Yoshifumi Hashimoto, the man behind Harvest Moon, Rune Factory and Story of Seasons. An RPG with battles that focus on areas rather than grids, this also promises a diverse cast and dramatic storyline. We'll let you know what we think in a review.

    Wii U Virtual Console
Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue & White (Capcom, €6.99 / £6.29) - Another continuation of the RPG gameplay introduced in the first two games, with malfunctions thrown into the mix. Although this comes in two different versions, the content is largely the same across both.

There's Dr. Luigi, Virus Buster, multiplayer (online and local) and download play included.

    3DS Retail Download
LEGO Jurassic World (€29.99 / £24.99) - This LEGO adaptation of the original trilogy and this summer's blockbuster is out on both Wii U and 3DS this week, though oddly only this portable iteration is confirmed for the eShop so far.

If it has the Spielberg original theme music and a tiny Richard Attenborough character I am sold, Lego games are awesome on 3DS.

    Wii U eShop

Shiftlings (Activision, €14.99 / £13.99) - A rather flashy co-op platformer that previously arrived on PC, this features two alien brothers that need to tackle a whole load of puzzle-based levels; they're tethered together and alternate between being inflated and being fully mobile. This can be played solo or in two player co-op, and we'll let you know what we think in a review.

Cube Life: Island Survival (Cypronia, €6.99 / £5.39) - This is a block-building survival game, so is naturally inspired by the Minecraft phenomenon. The Survival mode features the exploration, forging and survival aspects familiar in the genre, while Creative mode lets you generate structures that can be shared on Miiverse. Despite some design flaws we thought this deserved a recommendation in our Cube Life: Island Survival review.

    Wii U Virtual Console

Dr Kawashima's BRAIN TRAINING: How Old is Your Brain? (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - An iconic DS title that did much to define and popularise the 'TOUCH! Generation' range on the DS, you can now tackle its challenges and give your brain a workout on Wii U. It was actually available for free (for a spell) last year, so you can check out our Dr Kawashima's BRAIN TRAINING: How Old is Your Brain? review for a lowdown.

Kirby: Mouse Attack (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - Known as 'Squeak Squad' in North America, this gave the DS a more conventional Kirby platformer, albeit with some touch controls thrown in for good measure. Though a little bit on the short side and playing it safe, we gave this one a recommendation in our original Kirby: Mouse Attack review.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - From those simple times when Nintendo liked to put '64' at the end of titles, or fans would regardless of whether it was supposed to be there, this is a 2D platform rendered in chunky N64 polygons. We'll take another look, but we were disappointed with this in our original review back in 2008.

    Wii U Retail Download

Yoshi's Woolly World (Nintendo, €39.99 / £34.99) - The latest cute platformer from Good-Feel, this brings Yoshi and chums into a soft, cuddly environment in which to run and jump. With plenty of amiibo support, co-op, transformations and some delightful moments, this is a platformer that's been on some wishlists since its first conceptual reveal two years ago; our review will be with you very soon. Available from 26th June.

Art Academy: Atelier (Nintendo, €29.99 / £24.99 or €26.00 / £21.40 with Art Academy: SketchPad on the same Wii U system) - The first home console Art Academy title, this takes advantage of the sizeable touch screen on the Wii U GamePad to deliver an exceptional drawing experience. There are lessons to help newcomers learn the craft, while online sharing options thankfully step up a notch with YouTube uploads and Miiverse. We gave this a glowing recommendation in our Art Academy: Atelier review. Available from 26th June.

    Wii U eShop Promotion

Download Yoshi's Woolly World on the eShop and receive a free code for Yoshi Touch & Go - deal available until 23rd July, code valid until 20th August.

    3DS eShop

Tappingo 2 (Goodbye Galaxy Games, €2.99 / £2.39) — The sequel to the popular puzzle game that applies its own take on the genre, applying a spin to Picross-style principles. This new entry features over 100 new puzzles and a welcome zoom option to assist with larger images; we gave this a strong recommendation in our Tappingo 2 review.

    3DS Retail Download

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 (Koei Tecmo, €39.99 / £29.99) - A surprising localisation in light of the first sequel skipping the West, but nevertheless welcome for fans of Koei's frantic action games that also want a little more strategy. In addition to historical battling this looks set to offer plenty of content, with challenge modes and online rankings among the additional features.

    Garfield Kart (Anuman Interactive, €29.99 / £24.99)

    3DS eShop Temporary Discounts

Shin Megami Tensei IV (Atlus, €9.99 / £8.99 until 2nd July, normally €19.99 / £17.99) - How is this "temporary"? I've seen fewer full moons this year!

€40 is great for Yoshi (+a free game) - I doubt that will be beaten in the shops.

Samurai Warriors will be a good indication on how Hyrule Warriors will look and play on the 3ds. May finally buy SMT IV myself, this time I swear.

Considering Smyths is charging 69.99 with Amiibo and 59.99 without, this is a great deal

Probably placeholder prices - I expect they will change by Friday.

This week in the eshop.... (Source)

    Wii U eShop
Roving Rogue (Padaone Games, €7.99 / £7.19) - This joins the run of retro-styled platformers on the Wii U, in this case including a co-op experience with plenty of running, jumping and teleporting. With 42 levels this promises much...

    Wii U Virtual Console
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - Widely acknowledged as one of the finest games of all time, this Nintendo 64 classic makes its way to the Wii U; the iconic adventure title has previously had re-releases on the GameCube and Wii Virtual Console, in addition to its 3DS remaster. A true great in its genre. This is the European version of the game with corrected aspect ratio.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - The first entry in the strategy series on DS, and it's also a remake of the very first NES game that didn't make it to the West. Another member of the rich RPG and strategy tradition on the last-gen handheld...

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - This gives us our Game Boy Advance fix for the week, continuing Intelligent Systems' excellent warfare strategy series. Picking up directly from the first game, this entry introduces new units and strategies into the formula.

    Wii U Retail Download
LEGO Jurassic World (WB Games, €49.99/ £34.99) - The delay to this Wii U release in Europe was never fully explained beyond 'supply' issues from retailers, but in any case the HD iteration of this title arrives on the eShop on 30th June in mainland Europe and 3rd July in the UK.

    Wii U eShop Temporary Discounts
    SDK Paint (HullBreach Studios, €3.39 / £2.99 until 9th July, normally €4.49 / £3.99)
    Ittle Dew (Ludosity, €4.99 / £4.49 until 30th July, normally €9.99 / £8.99)

    3DS eShop
Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains (Atlus, €29.99 / £34.99) - Better known as Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, this retail title comes to Europe as an eShop-only release, though the localisation is certainly great news for fans of the hit anime show. This surreal title has some exciting combat yet also has its shares of niggles and rough edges.

Mighty Gunvolt (Inti Creates, €3.49 / £3.19) - This is a retro-styled throwback with simple run and gun gameplay reminiscent of a certain Capcom franchise. Available for free with Azure Striker Gunvolt until 2nd July, this is the less expensive option for those that only want this smaller release.

Fantasy Pirates (EnjoyUp Games, €1.99 / £1.99) - Another entry from the prolific Spanish publisher / developer, this is a 15-stage adventure in which you navigate your pirate boat with 360-degree movement to find treasure and sink rivals; it's also promising a 1 vs. 1 online mode.

Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- (CIRCLE Entertainment, €5.99 / £4.79) - A vertically scrolling shmup out of Japan, this puts you in charge of a mech in which you obliterate many waves of enemies across plenty of levels. Unfortunately its attempts at plot fall short and are only backed up by mediocre gameplay.

    3DS Retail Downloads
    The Smurfs (Ubisoft, €19.99 / £17.99)
Paddington: Adventures in London (Anuman, €29.99 / £24.99)
    YAKARI: The Mystery of Four-Seasons (Anuman, €29.99 / £24.99)

    3DS eShop Temporary Discounts
    Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies (Capcom, €13.99 / £11.19 until 16th July, normally €24.99 / £19.99)
    Tappingo (CIRCLE Entertainment, €1.99 / £1.69until 23rd July, normally €2.99 / £2.49)

    This Friday - source.
Some good price drops on Wii U Indie games.

    Wii U eShop
Never Alone (E-Line Media, €14.99 / £12.99 ) - A puzzle platformer playable in single player or two player co-op, this follows the adventures of Iñupiaq girl Nuna and her companion, an Arctic fox, as they attempt to find the source of the "eternal blizzard". This is full of rich history that's wonderfully presented, but we feel that there are notable design and technical issues with this Wii U version.

Funk of Titans (EnjoyUp Games, $8.99) - Developed by studio A Crowd of Monsters, not an actual crowd of monsters, this platformer splits over 40 levels across three worlds: Pop, Rap, and Rock. To quote a press release directly, you "show those jive-turkey Pagan Titans why funk is the music of the Gods! Funk-Fu for the win!"

    Wii U Virtual Console
Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun & Blue Moon (Capcom, €6.99 / £6.29) -The latest entry (in two variations) of this RPG spin-off series that graced the Game Boy Advance. This time around Lan and Mega Man have to worry about an asteroid heading to Earth and a NetNavi threatening the network, which sounds like a tough day at the office. We gave this a strong recommendation in our Mega Man Battle Network 4 review.

Wii U eShop 'Epic Indie Sale'

    Quiet one this week... Source

    Wii U eShop
Canvaleon (OXiAB Game Studio, €11.95 / £10.80 until 6th August, then €13.95 / £12.59) - This is a promising 2D platformer / adventure title with a neat twist; beyond what looks like standard play you 'paint' your hero different colours to effectively camouflage them against the backdrop. Over 30 stages are promised.

Blocky Bot (Mobot Studios, €2.69 / £1.89) - A developer perhaps better known for sizeable download projects, this is the studios' contribution to the wave of budget titles on the Wii U eShop. It's a simple platformer that, importantly, has a sense of style, quality and fun to it.

    Wii U Virtual Console
Yoshi Touch & Go (Nintendo, €6.99 / £6.29) - An early DS game, this went all out to incorporate the Yoshi's Island style with the (at the time) unique inputs of the dual screened system. You use the stylus and microphone to tap, draw and blow in order to guide Yoshi and Baby Mario through each stage.

    3DS eShop
3D Streets of Rage 2 (Sega, €4.99 / £ 4.49) - As gamers of a certain age that are also big fans of retro Sega, the 3D series developed by M2 continues to press all the buttons of some of our team. This release is particularly exciting for your humble writer, who regards this as a true tour-de-force in beat-em up action, now on the 3DS in lovely 3D.

Ninja Battle Heroes (Tom Create, €1.99 / £1.79) - A stylish and somewhat cute action title, you wield a katana, fling some throwing stars and wreak havoc in this 2D game. A fast-paced beat-em up at a budget price, this gets a lot right - we gave this a strong recommendation in our Ninja Battle Heroes review.

Mercenaries Saga 2 (CIRCLE Entertainment, €4.99 / £3.99) - This seems like a title inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics, looking almost identical to Square Enix's legendary turn-based strategy title, incorporating the same isomeric view and very similar animation; that's not necessarily a bad thing.

    3DS Retail Download
I Love My Cats (Bigben Interactive, €24.99 / £19.99) - We imagine this is rather like I Love My Dogs, but with cats. It's all in the title.

    3DS Temporary Discounts
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (Capcom, €29.99 / £24.99 until 30th July if you've downloaded Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Special Demo Version with the same Nintendo Network ID - normally €44.99 / £39.99)

Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars (Atlus, €14.99 / £13.49 until 30th July, normally €29.99 / £24.99)

    Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX (Akaoni Studio, €4.99 / £4.49 until 21st August, normally €7.00 / £6.30)

With new controls and HD visuals over the previous smart device version, the new edition also promises over 15 hours and 100 levels of single-player story content, 100 co-op levels, and 27 multiplayer deathmatch stages.

    This week (source)

    Wii U eShop
Beatbuddy (Threaks, €8.99 / £8.09) - With its title shortened in Europe, this is a music action-adventure game that has an emphasis on rhythm — some moves and key moments need to be timed to the beat. It includes music contributions from Austin Wintory — composer of the Journey official soundtrack — among many others; we're keen to give this a go, and we'll let you know what we think in a review soon. Available from 5th August.

Sanatory Hallways (Wegenbartho, €9.99 / £8.99) - At its core this is a two-player experience, with one character being a flashlight-armed girl trying to escape her nightmare and another playing a ghost tasked with tormenting her, with the spirit being able to set up traps, turn off electricity and more. With additional levels coming in the future as free DLC this sounds intriguing, but we'll see whether it scares us off in a review.

    Wii U Virtual Console
Star Fox Command (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - This DS entry in the iconic series is a little different from its contemporaries, splitting play between tactical battles on the touchscreen and free roaming battles. With plenty of characters and multiple endings this offers a lot of content, though as expected the multiplayer modes are a no-go. We gave this a modest recommendation in our Star Fox Command review.

Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - A DS successor to GBA title DK: King of Swing, this utilises the shoulder buttons for you to swing your way between pegs, collecting items and tackling foes as you go. Gameplay is shaken up with a few quirks, while multiplayer is also included (and will hopefully feature here as it was a local one-cart feature); we'll swing into another review, but in the meantime you can check out our original recommendation of this game.

This week. Not much - maybe Gunstar Heroes for portable nostalgia.
    http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2015/08/nintendo_download_20th_august_europe

    Wii U eShop
The Bridge (The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, €9.99 / £8.99) - An intriguing puzzle title long on the wishlists of some, this has been critically acclaimed on PC in particular. In addition to an eye-catching visual design its puzzles play around with perception and gravity.

ZaciSa: Defense of the Crayon Dimensions! (ZeNfA Productions, €1.49 / £1.14 until 27th August, then €2.99 / £2.29) - In comparison to the original release in North America - which will have its own update with extra content - this European version will have "several new maps, game modes, weapons, enemies, online leaderboard, Miiverse integration, stable 60 FPS gameplay and more additions".

    Wii U Virtual Console
Wario: Master of Disguise (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) - The latest DS game to make its way to the Wii U, in this case a quirky combination of platformer and mini-games as Wario plays the thief in 'TV episodes'.

    Wii U eShop Temporary Discounts
    Rock Zombie (EnjoyUp Games, €3.99 / £3.59 until 17th September, normally €6.99 / £6.29)

3D Gunstar Heroes (SEGA, €4.99 / £4.49) - An iconic Mega Drive release gets the treatment from M2, with this one being one of the games that established Treasure as an elite arcade-style developer. This colourful run-and-gun game has additional options such as double life and Mega Life to help players reach the end, in addition to local multiplayer.

Cube Creator 3D (Big John Games, €7.50 / £5.25) - This aims to satisfy two camps in the world of Minecraft-style experiences - in Survival Mode you do the usual exploring, crafting and fighting to stay alive. Creation Mode allows you to create your own worlds and share screens via Miiverse, with various environments to mess around with. It's had some updates since originally launching in North America.

    Wii U Retail Download
Devil's Third (Valhalla Game Studios, €59.99 / £49.99) - This shooter has attracted mixed opinions prior to release, but will aim to make its mark in PAL territories first up. It's a title with bold ambitions of marrying first person shooting with extensive melee combat, with a solo campaign being joined by a hefty online component.

Disney Infinity 3.0: Play without limits (Disney Interactive, €19.99 / £16.49 until 5th September, normally €29.99 / £24.99) - Due to this game requiring toys and a portal it's being offered at a heavily reduced price on the eShop, a tempting option for those already invested in the series. This is Disney's high profile franchise in the toys-to-life market and features Star Wars and Frozen this year, among other franchises. Available from 28th August.

    Wii U eShop
Q.U.B.E: Director's Cut (Grip Digital, €7.99 / £7.19 until 14th September, normally €9.99 / £8.99) - This first person puzzle title has been a little while coming, and challenges the player to manipulate environments and more in order to make progress. This Director's Cut features an expanded story and a Time Trial mode with online leaderboards.

Life of Pixel (Super Icon Ltd, €9.99 / £8.99) - This is an intriguing platformer with the premise of each stage representing particular consoles and generations, while revisiting classic games with a backdrop of chiptune music. It delivers in many respects but is flawed with some of its level design.

Stone Shire (Finger Gun Games, €4.99 / £4.20 until 26th September, normally €7.99 / £7.00) - It's a Minecraft-inspired game on Wii U, which jumped into the North American market ahead of rivals; it's set up as a simple sandbox experience in which you explore and try to survive.

    Wii U Retail DLC
The following DLC / microtransactions will all be included with Devil's Third from 28th August:
    1 Golden Egg (€0.49 / £0.49)
    10 Golden Eggs (€3.99 / £3.59)
    25 Golden Eggs (€6.99 / £6.29)
    50 Golden Eggs (€12.99 / £11.69)
    100 Golden Eggs (€19.99 / £17.99)

Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails (Dakko Dakko, €4.99 / £4.49 until 3rd September, normally €9.99 / £8.99)
    Turtle Tale (Saturnine Games, €1.99 / £1.65 until 17th September, normally €2.99 / £2.49)

    3DS Retail Download
Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson (Marvelous Europe, €29.99 / £24.99 ) – This new entry follows on from the events of its predecessor, with more beat 'em up action combining with some new twists on gameplay.
