Just gawked the eShop.
Final day of reductions for Wii U are:- Xenoblade Chronicles (9,99€ / -50%)
- Bayonetta 2 (29,99€ / -40%)
That has to include the original Bayonetta. Makes sense that Xenoblade Chronicles promotes Xenoblade Chronicles X and sure you'll finish it by 4/12/16, just a year late for X.

Lots of 8-9 reviews for Paper Jam Bros (the main criticism being the weak story).

Superstar Saga: Great, but got stuck (couldn't beat the first battle with Fawful). I'd probably breeze through it if I went back now.
Partners in time: Great
Bowser's inside story: Liked it, but didn't finish it.

Your opinion makes more sense given your slightly skewed experience with the series.
If your schedule opens up, you should definitely go back to the M&L games you didn't beat, and see if Dream Team loses it's shine.
I won't go into super great detail about why I hate Dream Team, but a lot of what the M&L series does from a mechanics, story and gameplay perspective I feel was done the worst by far in Dream Team. Sometimes I still wake up in a cold sweat remembering the ridiculous longwinded Mega Luigi QTE sections that relied on the awful gyroscope controls....I thought Partners in Time was an excellent game. It was really long too.
I was really unimpressed with it at the time, but it's kinda gone up in my estimation given how BAD dream team was.
I just found it as an unimpressive sequel both in mechanics and graphics. It made the jump all the way to the DS from the GBA and looked kind of bad (Bowser's looked gorgeous), the plot with the Shroobs was stupid and is basically forgotten about in the third game.
I also thought the Bros mechanics of "A+B" being extended to "A+B+X+Y" with the babies was a bit too over-complicated for the twitch reactions needed by some items (also I have never personally liked the "Babies" as characters).
None of that really mattered though, because I found in the course of regular play that the green shell item was totally broken, and as long as you didn't drop the very simple rhythm pattern "Mario, Baby, Luigi, Baby, Mario" etc etc, it basically did infinite damage.
I was a little annoyed I killed the last boss in two green shells. One to destroy the lower section, one to destroy the head once it landed on the ground and was green-shellable.
I did not yet know the horrors of Dream Team's gyroscope controls, so I'd probably be more lenient on Partners now.
It mostly just felt like an uninspired middle child, and never made me laugh out loud like the other games.0 -
