Looking at the Russian eShop for Wii U games, there's some good savings to be made on certain games. I'd imagine it's the same for 3DS and perhaps Switch.
I'll give a few examples:
One Piece: Unlimited World Red – €13.74 in Europe, versus ~€7.42 on Russian eShop
Batman: Arkham Origins – €17.99 versus ~€10.62
Injustice: Gods Among Us – €17.99 versus ~€8.65
LEGO Jurassic World – €19.99 versus ~€11.52
And the game that's bugged me the most over all the years of discounts:
Nano Assault Neo – €7.49 versus ~€4.31
Not once in 5 years have Shin'en Multimedia offered anything more than 25% off this game.0 -

I've noticed the Wii U eShop sale isn't as good as in other years. I wonder why that is? A lot of the games on Wii U have been ported to Switch. No point giving discounts on Wii U when they can charge full price on Switch. There's a lot of games absent that normally would be here. I see Unepic launched today on Switch for €10, can't be having that on sale for a couple of € now like it was previously on the Wii U eShop on numerous occasions. Octodad on the Wii U has the same discount on Wii U as on Switch. The game is at least a couple of years old there. It's not a great game but I see it regularly sell for a few £ on other platforms.
I hope they add more games next week, the Yanks got great deals on games a few weeks ago on games like Runner 2 and Axiom Verge for Thanksgiving while we were skipped.0 -

You can create multiple accounts on the WiiU - I did it for Injustice : God's Among Us because the DLC was not available in ireland but was on the UK store. I can't remember if it affects which games are available to the logged in account though. I think you're continentally locked with a "PAL" console - so from an EU perspective there aren't many places you can go - but I think Russia, South Africa and Norway, which are typically the rich pickings globally for eShop bargains anyway, are available.0

The Switch's NeoGeo quasi-but-actually-completely-not VC is one of the more left-field things on Ninty's new machine (the other being its runaway success out-of-the-gate, of course). Waku Waku 7 receiving its first ever PAL release on a Ninty console in 2017 is one of those things you simply cannot make up. Anyone know how well the King of Fighters games emulate on Switch? Kinda keen to add 94-97 to my collection since I own 98-onward elsewhere and the Wii/PS2 'Orochi Saga' versions don't have the greatest reputation.0
