Most should work. Do you have make and models of wireless cards and Eircom Router?

When you open the wireless utility on your PC does it see the Eircom Wireless network but won't connect?

If so it might just be a matter of entering the Encryption key into the Wireless card setup utility, which on the current Eircom router is the Serial number.

Do take the effort to change the default settings on your wireless router, esp. the channel number used. I had a look at a friend's settings and discovered that two other networks, all using this netopia wireless router, were on the same channel (7) - pretty much explains why he was getting poor links.

Have you the latest drivers for your Lucent wireless adapters?

I had problems with intermittent connections which cured with a driver and wireless utility update
