Which boiler for number rads?

Is there a guide to the size of boiler you need for the number of rads in a house? For example for a 1600 sqft detached house with 12-14 rads 100000 BTU?

when we sell our stoves with boilers we run on the following rule

1 x radiator = 5,000 BTU

so 14 radiators x 5,000 BTU = 70,000 BTU hope this helps
