Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,

    BACKGROUND

Have an Acer 803LCI. Very nice latop have it 3 years now and the spec still aint bad by todays standards. Had a 3 year warranty on it and have used it twice. Both times were small problems but the serivce was **** and had to post it to england.

    THE PROBLEM
When i turn it on the screen is scrambled. I rekon its not the screen because when it plugged into a monitor it happens too. So its either the graphics or a loose wire.

    Available Solutions.
    1. Get it repaired
    2. Bin it or sell it for spare parts

I dont really use the laptop anymore but dont wana just leave it there. Is it worth gettin fixed. Id be willing to spend around 100 euro max.

i had a similar problem with my laptop, gfx screwed up
I wouldn't get it repaired, wouldn't bin it, sell it as faulty or for parts i think

The problem is that there are lines when it starts up in the bios on the screen. When the O/S boots up more lines appear and looks like cetain bits haved been moved to another pat of the screen as if it was a jigsaw.

If I wanted to sell it for parts where is the best place to do so. Any idea who uch I shud look for?
