If your life were a movie, what rating would it be?

    http://www.bart666.com/index.php/projects/movie-rating-quiz/

(Embarrassingly I'd be a 12A................which is pretty bad considering I'm a 21yo student... just hope it's not straight to video either...)

I'm boring too so you're fine*..:)
Suitable for 12 years or older. Starting to get interesting now, with more adult-themed storylines, but we’re still talking in mild doses. You may find more colourful language, some human flesh, and maybe even some violence. Nothing creepy though.

Examples: Batman, Naked Gun 33 1/3

*Warm milk and biccies before I go to sleep now.

R18, good good. still there were too many of them I wished I could have clicked, but college isn't over just yet :)

To quote the BBFC: The R18 category is a special and legally restricted classification primarily for explicit videos of consenting sex between adults. Such videos may be supplied to adults only in licensed sex shops, of which there are currently about 90 in the UK.

Suitable for 18 years or older. This is real life. Anything in this category is considered to be of subject matter relating to adult life, that happens day in and day out. Walking down the street is an 18 certificate. You have a life, well done.

Must be the excessive bad language.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,739 ✭✭✭Jello

    Your BBFC rating is:

    15

Suitable for 15 years or older. Films in this category can be about anything, say ‘****’ a lot, probably get to see all sorts of guns and shooting, but no open heart surgery with a knife. Most ‘R’ rated films in America fit into this category.

    Examples: Alien, The Sixth Sense

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,602 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

i got 18, not sure it means much tbh. if u are old enough you are bound to get 18?

I didn't know the BBFC used the rating "R18". I thought it was rimilar to our own.
Anyway, I got 18. Thought it would have been 15, but I suppose the drug thing bumped me up a bit.

    PG apparently.
PG stands for ‘Parental Guidence’, meaning that this film may not be suitable for small children, due to either a little violence or some mild harsh language, but nothing earth-shattering. Plots may have twists and turns, and there may even be real-life situations.

Examples: Bill & Ted, The Fifth Element

Rated 18. Bollix, I was wishing theyd compare me to Goodfellas, Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction but whatcha gonna do (come on, American Beauty, though a good flick, isnt even worthy of an 18 cert. No constant bad lingo or Joe Pesci beating Frank Vincent to death in a shinebox dispute type of incidents i recall)

I was hoping my film would be so good the censor would ban it tbh.

Had a lol at this question....
    Do you like betting?
No. I think betting is immoral.
No, it just doesn’t interest me.
I’ll bet small change if it’s good for a laugh.
I haven’t bet with money before, but I’ll wager an object for something small.
I like to play the Lottery regularly, or have wagers with friends for sports games. Not huge amounts, though.
I bet on horse racing, cards and other games all the time.
    * I am a professional gambler.
That sounds like a wager to me! Shall we start at £500?
