IDLE HANDS ROCK!!! I interviewed them before, they are so sound, and they played an acoutic version of "Fall to Life". My god, talk about an experience! One of the most underrated bands in the country. The fact that they are not getting the exposure/following they deserve is criminal and once agin proves whats wrong the music scene in Ireland. We're good, but why are why keeping our best bands a secret??? Makes no sense!!:D

Have to agree, "red is the number" is a class tune, very funky beat

I seen We Should be Dead in Dolans supporting The Twang(i think it was), they were excellent. The 2 lads from the band work in HMV in town

Does anyone know if Solloway are still together? I remember hearing they were supporting Diamond Head, but that was ages ago. Themeslves and Section Pink were two of the best young bands in Limerick a few years ago.

    /edit
One of my best friends has been recommending Walter Mitty and the Realists to me for some time, I'll have to check them out soon.

    Yep we did! :D

Walter Mitty took the crown this year, best I've seen the lads play, they really went for it and it came across in each of their performances.

Cork band Fred and Tipp band Maslow also played over there during the festival, was a great week, my liver is still recovering though..

For any band, from Limerick or based elsewhere, trying to break out of their home territory and really push themselves, I couldn't recommend Indie Week enough.
