Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which modem with Eircom Home Starter ?

    I am thinking about signing to the eircom broadband package home starter but I would like to know which wireless modem comes with it?

    Not quite sure which model they are currently shipping but it is a Netopia 4 Port modem with Wireless.

    If you drop into any of the 3G stores they will have them there.

    TBH, they're not pretty. I splashed out for a Netgear for the hall!

    Eircon sent me a Netopia 2247NWG. Horrible eircom logo on the top.

    Yep thats the one ,Netopia 2247NWG, got roped into configuring one for a site i was visiting today, the minute someone sees you with a laptop its like
    "so youre a wizard with these computer contraptions are ya?"

    Ah but the beauty of the wireless setup is that you dont have to look at it !
    You can stash it down behing a sofa or anywhere once its set up and use wireless nics to connect !!
